One Medium Suitcase

Suitcase size: 24 inches tall by 18 inches wide by 10 inches deep!

1.) A shoe box filled with pictures of my friends and family and All Time Low. They are the people that  I would want to remember the most.
2.) My ukulele.I love that thing. I could always play myself music when I'm bored.
3.) A pick for my ukulele. I can't play without a pick.
4.) Strings for my ukulele. I'll have to change the strings eventually.
5.) A toothbrush. It'd be gross if I didn't brush my teeth.
6.) Toothpaste. Ya know, for my teeth.
7.) My glasses. I need to be able to see.
8.) Code Red Mountain Dew. I have a caffeine addiction
9.) My favorite book- The Great Gatsby. I will get bored and I will never get tired of that book.
10.) The gold chain and bracelet that my grandmother left for me when she passed away. They are my most prized possessions.

Yellow Star

1. The weekends that I get to spend with my friends. These people are the best part of my life, and they have made me the person that I am today.
2. The birth of my little brother. He is so beautiful, even if I want to punch him in the face. I love him more than anyone on this earth.
3. My acceptance to the National Honor's Society. It was one of the most important events of my high school career.
4. The day that I got to come home from being in foster care. Being home was one of the best feelings I have ever experienced.
5. Whenever I get straight A's.
6. My sister graduating from high school. I am so proud of my sister, she will do great things in life.
7. When I hit my first home run. It is the highlight of my softball career.
8. Being born was a pretty good event in my life.
9. Getting my permit because it is the first step before getting a license and I like to drive.
10. Getting Ole Reliable. I'm glad my first car is familiar and special to me. 

Gone But Never Forgotten

Twenty years from now, these are the things I would like to remember about myself:

1. Brittany and Vera and Kim are my best friends, and I know that they would never leave my side. No matter how many fights we have, they are always there. They are some of the only people that I know will never give up on me.

2. My family is the greatest gift that I could ask for.

3. Keep the dreams that I have alive, and don't listen when people tell me no.

4. I love music, and my love for it will still be alive in twenty years.

5. I want to learn how to play the bass, and I will learn it before twenty years is over.

6. Be yourself. Because everyone can jump in a lake if they say otherwise.

7. Regular jeans are against your religion.

8. Having your own thoughts and opinions is okay.

9. Just because someone has different values, religion, or views on sensitive issues doesn't mean they are bad people.

10. Don't judge. You don't know what someone has had to live through.

11. Being married is not a part of your plan.

12. True love is rare, make sure you mean it when you tell them you love them.

13. "Because I can" is the best answer for everything.

14. If someone takes your love for granted, they never loved you. If someone can walk out of your life because you aren't good enough, they never loved you. Remember how it feels when someone breaks your heart, because you will break a few hearts yourself.

15. MOVE ON! Don't dwell on the past.

16. Your goal in life isn't to be good enough for someone. Your goal is to be good enough for yourself.

17. Know no limits, and always go above and beyond, it's what you're good at.

18. Have no regrets.

19. We choose our own destiny. Make choices carefully.

20. You will live in California, and you will write for Rolling Stone. It. Will. Happen.

Which is wiser? a pen or pencil?
A pencil is wiser, because it can erase it's mistakes. A pen is permanent, and thinks it can do no wrong.

Which is easier to forgive? a street or a sidewalk?

A sidewalk is easier to forgive, because it keeps you safe from the streets. Streets are full of danger.

Which is more fearful? new or old?

New is more fearful, because you don't know what will come. Old is in the past. 

Which is like a promise? Mathematics or science?

Mathematics is like a promise, because the formulas are final. Science is full of theory and "what if".

Which is more difficult? a dream or a nightmare?

A dream is more difficult, because you will always want it to come true. A nightmare is unwanted.

 Which is like a legend? A mirror or glass?

A mirror, because you can see right through glass. A mirror holds more mystery.

Which is more suspenseful? rain or snow?

Rain, because you never really know when rain will fall or when it will cease to fall. Snow will melt when the weather gets warm, it has an expiration date. 

Which is more trustworthy? history or literature?

Literature is more trustworthy, because there are true feelings in it. History may have the facts, but not the feelings.

Which is sadder? seek or find?

A find, because when you find something, the search is over. When the search is over, the ambition is gone. 

Which costs more? a home or a house?

A home, because you'll be fine if you lose your house. If you lose your home, you will never be able to find one just like it.

Valuable Lessons

1.) Life goes on. Some things are meant to stay in the past. You can't spend your time dwelling on what could have been.
2.) Stand up for the things that are important to you. Don't let others make you succumb to following the crowd.
3.) Make sure that the things that you are doing make you happy. Don't try to please anyone, it isn't worth it.
4.) Have no regrets. I would rather look back on life and laugh at the stupid things that I've done than look back and wonder how things could have been.
5.) Sometimes things will change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. But you can't avoid the fact that change is inevitable.
6.) Live in the moment. You can't spend your time what will be or what could have been.
7.) Count your blessings. Be grateful for the things you have, because they won't always be there.
8.) It's okay to love someone, but you can't let that love for them dictate your life. You have to think about what's good for you before you think about what's good for someone else. Don't be fooled when someone tries to take your love for granted. If they do this, then they don't love you.
9.) When someone tells you that their house is only fifteen minutes away, they're most likely lying. Especially if they are under 5'1 and a 16 year old boy. You'll get lost and get home past curfew.
10.) Love your mother. She is the one and only person that will be able to love you to the ends of the earth and back. Don't take that for granted.

1.) Alternative, Indie, and Punk bands. Heck to the yes. I could listen to that music for the rest of my life. Actually, I will.
2.) Playing the guitar and the ukulele. Making music is the best thing in my life.

4.) I like driving around Joplin in a mint green '94 Ford Escort, Ole Reliable, with my favorite people in the world.
5.) I like going to local music venues and checking out new bands.

7.) I like playing softball. Playing first base is my forte.
8.) ZOMBIES. Nuff said.

1.) CATS. They make me sneeze.
2.) Judgmental jerk faces. You're not any better than I am.
3.) People who can't spell things correctly. There is a dictionary for a reason.
4.) When people say, "I seen" If you begin a sentence like that, I'm going to assume you aren't gonna finish with, "the inside of a book." Learn to speak.
5.) When people can't take a hint. I'm trying to be nice, but I'll be mean if I have to.
6.) People who care more about their car than they do about people.
7.) People who don't think before they speak.
8.) Smoking. Ew. It's unhealthy and unattractive. 
9.) When boys are shorter than me. It happens more than you think.
10.) Vulgar redhead jokes.It offend me, even if I laugh it off.
11.) Pedophiles. There are laws saying that what you're doing isn't okay.
12.) Crazy ex's. There is an ex for a reason.
13.) Stalkers. Leave me alone!
14.) Bad hygiene. Being smelly isn't a good quality.
15.)When boys don't give you your own space. Just because we're a couple doesn't mean I wanna be around you all the time. Back off.
16.) When people wear their pants really low. That's not cute. You know what that means? Look it up.
